THE OPPORTUNITIES
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, you are responsible for but not limited to:
Kitchen Hands:
- General cleanliness of the kitchen
- Washing dishes
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Maintaining kitchen compliance
Line Cooks:
- Preparing and producing dishes on the line
- Ensure completion of all food preparation, cooking, set up and pack down of the kitchen
- Coordinate and maintain the quality of food and presentation of all meals
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
- Assist in the efficient Kitchen operations and cleaning
Chefs:
- Preparing and producing dishes on the line with our highly efficient and harmonious kitchen team
- Maintaining high level kitchen standards and quality
- Support junior chefs in their training and development
- Assisting in achieving consistent GP and wage results
- Overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
- Assist in the efficient Kitchen operations
- Wage management, stock-take and GP monitoring
WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in fast-paced kitchen environment
- Committed to the best standards of food preparation and service
- Knowledge and experience of kitchen food safety systems
- Can work under pressure and is an excellent team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
