THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for but not limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional food and service, ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality.
  • Designing and implementing new menu concepts that respond to the needs and tastes of target markets.
  • Managing seasonal menu changes.
  • Ensuring that food costs and wages are meeting budget.
  • Conducting internal audits and remedying any issues of non-compliance or poor performance, enforcing stock management policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate recruitment for chefs, performance management, training and development, succession planning for kitchen team

WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a kitchen environment
  • Committed to the best standards of food preparation and service
  • Experience with seasonal fresh cook to order menu’s
  • Knowledge and experience of kitchen food safety systems
  • Can work under pressure and is an excellent team player
  • Excellent communication skills
