Set within beautiful grounds in the seaside suburb of Hove, Alwyndor delivers on-site residential living and support at home services, along with therapy and wellbeing services that empower the people in our communities to live healthy, engaged and fulfilled lives.

Alwyndor’s welcoming, high-quality facilities include 144 residential, dementia, respite care beds, transitional and care awaiting placement beds, together with allied health, therapy and wellness programs and home support packages that support people in Adelaide’s southern metro communities.

We are inviting applications from experienced Personal Care Workers to join our our team of dedicated carers in delivering person-centred care to our wonderful residents. You will provide care to your residents supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities.

  • A clear and strong commitment to the providing quality care to our Residents
  • A positive and nurturing attitude
  • Clear and effective communication with residents, family members and all other staff.
  • Well -developed interpersonal skills
  • High standards of presentation and personal hygiene

Duties Include:

  • Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times & general mobility
  • Providing care in accordance with care plan
  • Supporting with recreational and social activities

To be considered for this role you will have…

  • Preference of at least 12 months experience in residential care
  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or Disability
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Flexible across 7 days
  • Working Rights in Australia

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
