The Position:

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Kitchen Hands and Runners for the Australian Open Tennis 2025 tournament. This is your chance to work behind the scenes at one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events in the world!

Kitchen Hand:

• Assist Chefs and Cooks with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food service during busy event periods.

Runner:

• Assist with food and beverage service by delivering orders to designated areas efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate food and beverage service operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and good organisation of service areas and assist with replenishing supplies as needed.

The Person:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, throughout the duration of the event.
