ServiceStream is seeking an Electrician for casual work in the Latrobe Valley Victoria within the Maintenance team for the AGL Loy Yang power station.
Nature of position: Casual
Location: Loy Yang, VIC
Reporting Line: Contract Manager
To be considered for a role you will require the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance in a power station environment.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and service fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets.
- Execution of planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance
- General electrical maintenance & minor project work
- Control wiring
- Maintaining LV wiring systems
- Ensure maintenance job compliance by following processes and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and behaviors.
- Provide technical support to engineering and clients.
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives, which may involve working with many different disciplines within the organization.
- Work autonomously, being reliable and positively contributing to the maintenance team, understanding the requirement to maintain assets in a safe and reliable condition.
- Participate in a call-out/on-call roster
Highly Regarded (relevant for your role)
- A Grade Electrical Licence
- E Class / Unrestricted Electrical License.
- Construction Induction card (White card)

- The role may involve working in various environments, including manufacturing plants, construction sites, and workshops.
