Chancellor State College has two campuses; primary and secondary. Each campus has a principal who is accountable for the achievement of outcomes for each student. This includes a strong focus on National Assessment Program for Literacy And Numeracy (NAPLAN), the curriculum, learning and teaching, assessment and reporting frameworks that are directly related to each student’s stage of schooling. The overall college vision and school performance is the responsibility of the executive principal. Together the three principals deliver the strategic direction and executive leadership of this college.
About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
- Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
- Liaise with Principal/Business Manager concerning purchase and/or replacement of cleaning materials.
- Reporting security, safety, damage concerns to the Principal/Business Manager or Schools Officer (Facilities and/or Grounds).
Chancellor State College is a large P-12 College with two separate campuses. It is a fast-paced learning environment, and we are looking for people who can support our students and their learning by providing clean, safe and healthy classrooms and other spaces for them to learn in.
We are seeking people who can demonstrate, experience in cleaning schools or other similar buildings, can work autonomously and manage their time well and work within a large team of cleaners across our college. We have two permanent positions available: 1 x Full Time – 38 hours per week and 1 x Part Time – 27.75 hours per week. These positions are split shift (working am/pm shifts).
