About the role

If you enjoy working with people, delivering great customer service and have a high level of attention to detail then this may be the opportunity you are looking for. At GMA our Customer Service Representatives handle sales enquires, orders and administer the sale of GMA’s industrial garnet products to our end clients and distributors across the APAC region. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring customer enquiries, orders and quotes are responded to, entered and processed correctly
  • Communicating with customers regarding stock availability and delivery dates
  • Maintaining a range of documents and information, such as pricing in our systems and customer materials, stock sheets 
  • Working with systems such as Pro-Mapp, Netsuite (our ERP) and CRM
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate delivery of our product from depot to warehouse to customer
  • Collaborating with sales team members across the region on sales leads 

What you will need

  • A helpful and friendly approach to customers – whether they be a sole trader or small business, or a major customer
  • Good problem solving skills
  • A high level of attention to detail including data entry into systems and ensuring financial data is captured accurately
  • Some experience in logistics (particularly shipping) would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team, including a willingness to contribute ideas for improvements
  • Cultural awareness to deal with customers across the APAC region including ANZ, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and Japan. An ability to speak an Asian language would be highly regarded.
