Your Role
As a BaptistCare Scheduling Support Officer you will support our Service Schedulers to arrange services that meet our customer needs.
You will work closely with our customers, our Service Schedulers and our care workers to ensure service requests and changes are clearly communicated.
You will assist our Service Schedulers with administrative functions that facilitate effective care worker rosters and payroll processes.
The role will be hybrid, working from home and with a minimum of 1-2 days per week working at a local home care office in Kellyville, Strathfield or Macquarie Park.
Working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Team Support:
Be the first point of contact for client service requests, ensuring our customers receive the best care possible. Work closely with schedulers and care facilitators to ensure data accuracy and foster a team culture where everyone feels valued and respected.
Scheduling Duties
Plan and organize care worker rosters to meet customer needs efficiently. Manage the Scheduling Inbox, handle incoming calls, and maintain client communications with timely precision.
Exceptional Customer Service
Deliver exceptional service by treating customers with respect, understanding their diverse needs, and responding with clarity and compassion. Your empathetic approach will ensure a positive experience for every customer.
Key Requirements
Experience in scheduling or workforce rostering, and knowledge of Home Care programs, will be highly valued and will enhance your ability to excel in this role.
  • At least one-year minimum knowledge and experience in an administrative role
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Flexibility – you may be required to participate in an after-hours on-call roster
