OM Civil is seeking a Project Engineer with experience in civil construction and urban development works in Logan, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast region for immediate start.

The successful applicant MUST have a civil engineering degree qualification and possess a high level of communication, analytical, organisational, and computer skills with a willingness to work on-site with a highly motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing estimates and budgets, planning and monitoring project construction to maximise time and cost efficiencies, and implementing quality control registers, inspections, and documentation.

Have a strong work ethic and desire for career progression while working safely and demonstrating respect for the environment and community.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering;
• Five+ years of experience in urban development work in local government regions across South East Queensland, specifically Gold Coast City and Logan City Councils;
• A strong Information Technology background and experience in current technologies;
• Management of subcontractors and construction delivery;
• Ensuring all site activities and operational delivery are performed per HSE legislation;
• Planning, scheduling, and budgeting, as well as progress and cost reporting;
• Quality Assurance of construction delivery;
• Procurement.
