We are seeking experienced Cook (with 1 year experience in Café menu) and experienced Barista (with 1 years experience of coffee making and latte art).

About the Role:

Our store in Goulburn Square is looking for

1. Cook/Kitchen Team Member to create and deliver The Coffee Club meal experience through perfect execution and care. You will be across all back-of-house operations providing Good Food and Great Service.
2.  Barista for making all beverages as per the Coffee Club Manuals.

Responsiblities:

Cook/Kitchen Team Member

• Cook food as per Coffee Club menu and recipe
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen is in alignment with Food Safety requirements and general hygiene practices
• Preparation, replenishment & rotation of stock in the kitchen
• Operate, maintain & clean all kitchen equipment and cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant
• Washing dishes
• Ensuring all kitchen areas remain clean and tidy (i.e. food preparation area, dish area)
• General assistance employees who are cooking
• Assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking
• General pantry duties
• Limited or incidental duties associated with collection of dirty dishes and store cleaning.

Barista

• Making of all beverages (including supplying, making coffee, tea, frappes and other beverages) as per The Coffee Club Manuals
• Taking customer orders and receipt of monies
• Detailed knowledge of the FMS system
• Adding value and generating sales through up selling and second selling
• Detailed knowledge of Food & Beverage hygiene
• Delivery duties, including delivering meals and drinks to tables
• Undertaking general waiting duties of both food and/or beverage, including cleaning of tables
• Replenishing & rotating of stock
• Ensuring all areas remain clean and tidy (i.e. drinks preparation area)
• Polishing and wrapping cutlery
• General store cleaning (using cleaning schedules)
• Ensuring all customer areas are clean and orderly at all times
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment (i.e. coffee machine, grinder)
• Some incidental/limited additional cleaning duties, including washing dishes and tidying dish area
